Vanessa Vale has over 10 years’ experience working in the RTO administrative, Coordinator and Contract Trainer Assessor roles. Vanessa previously worked for an international transport organisation in Training and Customer Service Executives roles for 8 years. Vanessa holds the qualifications of Diploma of Management, Certificate IV TAE, Certificate III Transport and Logistics, Certificate III Retail, Diploma Training & Assessment Systems.

ADAM HOLSTEIN

Education and Support Coordinator

Adam has worked for more than 16 years in the community sector. In that time he has held a number of roles including Youth Worker at a drop-in service, Case Manager for ADHC, Job Support Officer, Employer Engagement Officer as well as Senior Support Worker and Team Leader in day programs. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Social Science (Youth Work), Diploma of Disability, Cert IV Training & Assessment and Cert IV Frontline Management.

MDS TRAINING SUPPORT OFFICER

Katie Martin has worked at Macarthur Disability Services for 11 years. In that time she has worked in numerous roles including Reception & Administration Officer, HACC Training Support Officer, Carer Coordination Support Officer and currently MDS Training Support Officer. Katie is currently completing her Diploma in Business and Administration.

MICHELLE LINDAU

CONTRACT TRAINER AND ASSESSOR

Michelle Lindau has many years’ experience working in the community sector. She has managed Day Programmes, Active Ageing and special projects within the aged care sector, has a great deal of experience working with individuals who have dementia and their carers. She has also worked as a community development worker, mainly working with youth and women, within small community settings. For some years, Michelle has been training and facilitating a wide variety of subjects within the sector, mainly across south western Sydney. She has a passion for engaging with and encouraging people who work within the sector to better enable them to provide strengths based, responsive and respectful support in a life enhancing way.

MARIA POULOPOULOS
MDS Maria

SECTOR SUPPORT & DEVELOPMENT TRAINING COORDINATOR

Maria Poulopoulos has worked for more than 19 years in the aged and disability community service sector. In that time she has held a number of roles including Care Support Worker, Case Manager, Day Care Coordinator and Client Service Manager. Over the last five years Maria’s focus has been working in delivering qualification based training in aged and disability community services. Maria is the Sector Support & Development Training Project Coordinator for Macarthur Disability Services in the South West Sydney, Macarthur and Wingecarribee Region. Her qualifications include a Diploma of Community Services. Certificate IV Training & Assessment, and is currently completing Associate Degree in Adult & Vocational Education.

CARINA TIDY
MDS Carina

SECTOR SUPPORT & DEVELOPMENT TRAINING OFFICER

Carina Tidy has worked at Macarthur Disability Services for 7 years and has over 20 years’ experience in administration, management, training and marketing. Carina’s role includes looking after the trainers, as well as taking care of the paperwork and marketing. She has worked for small and large organisations in both the public and private sectors, and has held the roles of Team Leader, Quality Advisor and Technical Coach. Carina’s qualifications include a Diploma of Administration, Diploma of Project Management, Diploma of Marketing, Certificate IV Training and Assessment, and Certificate IV Disability.

ANITA MULALLY

CONTRACT TRAINER

Anita is passionate about older people and has worked in the Aged Care sector in Australia and overseas for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Diversional Therapy) Degree as well as a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology and Rehabilitation Studies due to her interest in older people. To complement these qualifications, she also has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Anita started her career as a Diversional Therapist in residential care and expanded to community care settings, specialising in activities for people who have Dementia. Anita has had experience in a variety of roles including, but not limited to, community care, community development, aged care assessment and workplace training. Anita brings this experience to her workshops in order to engage learners and assist with the practical application of new skills and knowledge.
